Group decision-making using a fuzzy linguistic approach for evaluating the flexibility in a manufacturing system

摘要

This study is to build a group decision-making structure model of flexibility in a manufacturing system development. The paper also proposes two algorithms for determining the degree of manufacturing flexibility (MF) in a fuzzy environment using a fuzzy linguistic approach. While evaluating the degree of MF, one may find the need for improving MF, and determine the dimensions of MF as the best direction to improvement until she/he can accept it The results of this study are more objective and unbiased since they are generated by a group of evaluators.
