Improvement in the efficiency of existing rotary tubular kilns through modernisation with contemporary heating systems

摘要

The replacement of conservative types of heating using convective heat transfer to the rotary tube by modern heat-transfer methods using-natural driven infrared bright radiators is creating closed-loop and open-loop controlled heating systems.A technologically requisite number of radiators are arranged in a kiln wail.This provides a local heat supply of different outputs to individual rotary tube zones according to the optimal process requirements.A major energy saving and increase in production can be anticipated as a result of the modernisation measures.
