Concerns deepen in the steel sector as job losses continue

Ongoing concerns in the steel business deepened recently with Tata Steel confirming it would be making further job losses in its UK operations. The company revealed no less than 1,000 job losses, the majority of which at its Port Talbot site in South Wales. The Port Talbot facility currently employs 4,000 workers, and is the biggest steel plant in Britain in terms of workforce and output.
