Praxair to invest $100m in Louisiana facility to support growth

Praxair is set to invest in excess of $100m in its Geismar facility, Louisiana, to expand its carbon monoxide (CO) production capabilities. Under the funding, the US corporation will add a new, purification train capable of producing 13 million standard cubic feet of CO per day. The modernisation also includes a CO cold box and various other upgrades, which are expected to be completed in the second half of 2018.
