Next generation programmable logic controller from Honeywell

Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) has developed a new programmable logic controller (PLC) to add to its next generation range, leveraging its power of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). The new ControlEdge? device, which uses built-in cyber security, has been combined with Honeywell's Experion* Process Knowledge System, providing secure connectivity and device integration from multiple vendors. It is the first PLC to offer Universal input/ output (I/O) - enabling remote configuration and late design change flexibility for improved implementation.
