More US distributors acquired

Praxair acquired two independent distributors of packaged gas and welding supplies in March, followed up with the purchase of a further gas and welding products distributor in April. All three companies strengthen Praxair s presence in key geographies, in addition to adding the inevitable combined annual revenues. United Welding Supplies, (United) in Texas and Best Welders Supply, (Best) in Oklahoma, were the two distributors to come under the Praxair wing in March, bringing combined 2013 annual sales of around $30m.
