Having started out as a fitter and turner, Frank Cetinich had always been something of an engineering trouble-shooter, so much so that when something went wrong, people would often say 'see Frank'. From this humble reputation spawned CEFRANK, a pioneer in gas cylinder equipment and manufacture. Revealing this fascinating anecdote is daughter Lara Cetinich Cory, the company's Sales and Marketing Manager-and arguably her father's biggest fan. "CEFRANK opened in 1979 and started out as a simple contracting firm, doing maintenance and working on special projects. But Dad could see that there was a gap in the market for cylinder equipment," she says. "He began offering gas companies like BOC and Linde an alternative to their in-house equipment and eventually set his sights on developing his own brand of cylinder equipment."
