Messer has finalised both the purchase and sale of companies in Europe. Effective from 12~(th) of March 2014, Messer has purchased 100% of the shares in Praxair S.A.S from Praxair Euroholding, Spain. The purchase will enable Messer to further expand its strong competitive position on the French market for industrial and medical gases. "Through this repositioning we are strengthening our activities specifically in our local market, Europe," emphasised Stefan Messer, owner and CEO of Messer Group GmbH.
