The Danish cattle breeding industry has launched an online shop for buyers to order heifers or cows, from organic or conventional herds, through a drop-down menu.Called the Livestock Webshop, the initiative comes from Bovi-Den-mark, the exporting arm of the Danish Holstein Association.By making the ordering process simple and cutting out the middle-man, the organisation hopes to forge a significant market in the UK for Holstein, Jersey and Danish Red breeds, as well as crossbred cattle.
