Jason N. Rogart, MD, a graduate of Yale University's digestive diseases fellowship, was honored by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) as the recipient of the 2008 ASGE/ConMed Outstanding Manuscript Award. The award was presented on May 31, 2009, during Digestive Disease Week~R in Chicago, Illinois. More than 15,000 physicians, researchers, and academics attended DDW, the largest and most prestigious meeting in the world for the GI professional. The ConMed Award recognizes an outstanding manuscript that focuses on clinical research in the field of endoscopy and is published the previous year in ASGE's scientific journal, GIB: Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr Rogart's manuscript, "Narrow-band imaging without high magnification to differentiate polyps during real-time colonoscopy: improvement with experience," received the award for its research and clinical significance.
