Long-distance esophagogastric submucosal dissection after minimal esophageal trauma of a gastric tube

Spontaneous submucosal dissection of the esophagus is a rare disorder and usually occurs proximal to the esophagogastric junction, within the proper mucosal layer. With proper management, most patients improve within 2 to 4weeks, and few cases require endoscopic or surgical treatment.We report a case of spontaneous esophagogastric submucosal dissection, which may start from the esophagus and extend to the stomach
