The M-ISHS-method - a method to determine the air- andwatercharacteristics of substrates considering the bulk density in potsand containers [German]

The M-ISHS method (= Modified-ISHS method) described here is a modification of the ISHS method (GABRIELS and VERDONCK 1992; DIN 11512-3). In contrast to the ISHS method, the M-ISHS method makes it possible to consider the bulk density of the substrates as it is in the pots and containers. The influence of the bulk density on containercapacity and on aircapacity is shown for three substrates.
