Two-dimensional coincidence spectra of protons from the reaction d + d → p + p + n + n at E_(c.m) = 23.4 MeV are simulated with regard for dominant quasibinary processes of quasifree proton scattering and final-state nucleon interaction. Differential cross sections d(partial derive)/dΩ are found for the reactions ~2H(d, d~*)d~* at E_(c.m) = 23.4 MeV and ~2H(d, pp)nn at E_(c.m) = 11.6 MeV. Elastic cross sections and cross sections for the flip to the singlet are compared with the predictions of the supermultiplet potential model where interaction of clusters is described by the potentials V~((f)) ([f] is the Young orbit diagram). In the channels with the smallest total spin 5 = 0 the nonunitary elastic amplitude T_(LS) is equal to the sum of two very different unitary amplitudes T_(LS)~((f)) with [f] = [4] and [f] = [22] while the inelastic one is equal to their difference. The theory is in good agreement with the experiment.
