KESR/RVR future for No. 6619 if purchase goes ahead

Gwr 0-6-2T No. 6619 could be heading for the Kent East Sussex Railway at the end of this season. The locomotive, owned by Peter Proud and Kevin Gould for some 40 years, has been up for sale since spring 2011. The RM can exclusively reveal that an agreement, in principle, has been reached for it to be bought by a KESR-based consortium, provided the funding is in place by an agreed August 12 cut-off.
