Primus Green Energy Touts Novel BTL-Gasoline Development Scheme

New Jersey-based Primus Green Energy announced Septem- ber 7 that it has expanded a development facility for a pro- posed scheme involving biomass gasification followed by a proprietary technology converting syngas to 93-octane "drop- in" gasoline. The company describes the biomass to liquids (BTL) pro- cess as a "proprietary variant" of the ExxonMobil methanol- to-gasoline (MTG) scheme.
