Greens to Sue U.S. EPA for Delays on Power Plant GHG Rules

U.S. attorneys generals in 10 U.S. states and several “green” advocacy groups announced April 15 that they intend to sue the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for its alleged failure to finalize carbon-dioxide (CO2) limits on power plants. As noted by the U.S. National Association of Clean Air Agencies, the 10 states threatening to sue the EPA include Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington.
