Laser gas distribution systems lower costs

When end users work with their distributors, everyone benefits. Take the case of Flex-N-Gate Forming Technologies (FGFT), which produces bumper systems and injection-molded consoles for the auto industiy. The company partnered with its compressed gas and equipment distributor and its supplier of specialty industrial and laser-gas-distribution equipment to improve the productivity of its laser-cutting operations. FGFT's 120,000-ft~2 manufacturing plant in Warren, Mich., uses many laser cutting and welding machines to produce a wide range of automotive products in steel and plastic on the Chrysler PT Cruiser, Dodge Ram, Chevrolet Silverado, and Ford Explorer, among others.
