Summit Texas Clean Energy Wins U.S. DOE $450 Million Grant

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) announced Septem- ber 27 that it issued a Record of Decision (ROD) that-along with a signed cooperative agreement-will allow federal funding to be used to help build the 400-megawatt (MW) Summit Texas Clean Energy plant combining integrated gas- ification combined cycle (IGCC) power with carbon capture and storage plus urea production.
