Carbon capture and storage (CCS) is being hailed as the answer to one of the world's most vexing questions: what to do with the 27 billion metric tons of carbon dioxide emitted yearly from the burning of fossil fuels? However, CCS still faces cost questions especially when enhanced oil recovery (EOR) isn't a readily available option.
