Duke Energy on June 27 told Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) that labor productivity costs on its Edwardsport, Indiana, integrated gasification combined cycle (IGCC) project have risen by just over US$100 million, but the company may find ways to offset those extra costs. Poor weather, delays in material deliveries and other factors can affect labor productivity, the company explained in its semi-annual report to IURC.
