Die Quip manufactures die-finishing equipment used in the wire, bar, and tube drawing industries to rework tungsten carbide dies. Its line includes the largest size equipment that can hold from 1-12" (25-305mm) outside diameters and the company says it has semi-automatic and manual machines to fit all kinds of polishing or re-cutting needs. "Our latest piece of equipment for the wire industry is the DS/2 Die Saver featuring an NSK electric spindle and automatic shut-off," says Tom Maxwell, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing.
