Meltech announces new MT-DR automated dual reel take-up machines

Wire processing specialist Meltech Engineering Ltd has revealed the new MT-DR range of automated dual reel take-up machines for continuous production of data communications and LAN cables, general wiring and heat shrink and wire tubing applications. Offering winding speeds up to 1,500 metres per minute and based on the classic Biwater DR take-up machine design, Meltech has re-engineered the machine and its control system to give improved winding control, layering, speed and length control at point of changeover.
