Nutrition ecology implemented.

摘要

In 1986 the scientific discipline of nutrition ecology was established. It covers interdisciplinary research of the complex overall system of nutrition with its health, social, ecological and economic interrelations and consequences. The goal is to develop solutions for problems linked to nutrition which cannot be solved by evaluating only a single aspect. Current topics are combating malnutrition, Western diseases, migration into cities and poverty. Additional aspects are organic farming, climate change and scarcity of raw materials. These topics are evaluated in their interrelatedness to develop solutions which do justice to regional and global nutrition problems.
