Students from Bonn and Giessen commended for research into eating behaviour.

摘要

Summarized accounts are given of studies from 2 students awarded the Oecotrophica prize in the field of nutrition/home economics at a recent nutrition congress in Germany. The 1st study on sustaining effective nutrition within the family is based on a survey of feeding behaviour in 9 families following (or aiming to follow) healthy eating plans. The 2nd study comprises a meta-analysis of selected empirical studies on consumer perception of nutritive value and health claims for foods.
