For too long the DECT market has been all about competing on price. But with the arrival of dual DECT/VoIP phones there will at last be some opportunities for independents. It isn't just the mobile phone market that is developing apace. Indoors, another tel-ecoms revolution is taking place too. Fuelled by the widespread adoption of broadband throughout the UK, VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) is set to become a mainstream proposition if not this year, then at least by 2007.
