Commitment to excellence - We go on the road with Electrolux's regional sales manager, Jill Millward and visit two AEG Centres of Excellence

I have arranged to meet Electrolux's Jill Millward in North West London. Our first call of the day is Buyers and Sellers - a busy premium appliance outfit in swanky Ladbroke Grove. On the ground level there is a lively, buzzing sales office/shop floor and in the basement there's a stylish showroom that is kitted out with a wide range of built-in appliances, including AEG-Electrolux pyrolytic ovens and gas on glass hobs. CI(H) and retra member Buyers and Sellers is an AEG Centre of Excellence, which means the staff have been trained to sell AEG products and they possess a high level of specialist knowledge. "We organise training. The staff here are great at selling - they don't wait for customers to ask them," enthuses Jill, who is a very bubbly, charismatic lady, "It's a unique set-up - everyone has a selling role and they're all so full of energy." In the showroom, we meet shop floor manager, John Farnham. "We've tried to make the place look like a kitchen rather than a showroom - it's very tranquil," he explains
