The EPA recently issued the long-awaited Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPR) for significant new uses of the heavy metal lead (Pb). Overall, the ANPR is a positive development in EPA's lead regulation strategy, and reflects comments the industry has made to EPA in the past.
