NACD testifies against proposed changes to OSHA Hazard Communication Standard

National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) vice president of regulatory affairs, Jennifer C. Gibson, testified before the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) on Tuesday regarding proposed changes to OSHA' s Hazard Communication Standard (HCS). The proposed modifications would align the HCS with the United Nations Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals' (GHS' s) seventh revision, conform provisions with other US and Canada agencies, and address issues that have developed since the 2012 amendment of the HCS.
