Wood sees profits decline

Oil field services player Wood Group has posted an 86 decrease in its profit for the first half of the year due to weak contribution from the North Sea, as well as other factors. UK-based Wood recorded a profit of US $6m, down from $45m in the first half of 2016. Profit for the period was impacted by exceptional costs of $47.6m.
