Strong, weak and electromagnetic forces at work in atomic nuclei, decay properties

A survey of basic properties of the decay of unstable nuclei is here presented, with a focus on alpha and beta decay. An overview of basic properties and the description of few examples of recently measured decays in exotic nuclei are given in the lecture.
