A 30-year-old male was admitted to the emergency department following blunt head trauma. While cycling without head protection, he skidded on a wet road surface, lost control, struck and hit his head against the kerb. On arrival, he was alert, oriented, and his vital signs were normal. Spinal precautions were in situ.
