Osteomyelitis is characterized by inflammation of the bone marrow and adjacent bone and is often associated with cortical and trabecular destruction. Pelvic osteomyelitis is unusual in children and adults [1]. Children with pelvic osteomyelitis often present with non-specific symptoms. Hence, diagnosis hi the acute stage is often missed leading to disabling sequelae such as sepsis, chronic infection, and growth disturbance. This often results in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures that may be avoided.
