Optimised brake caliper production: internal recessing with more than one cutting edge

In the production of brake calipers for automobiles an internal recess is needed which has to satisfy high quality demands. On the other hand, the aim in this process step is also to achieve high productivity. A newly designed recessing head produces promising results in this area of conflict.
