Ramboll wins Barents Sea FEED

Ramboll has landed a Front End Engineering Design (FEED) study from Statoil for the pipelines connecting the operator’s Askeladd and Sn?hvit fields in the Barents Sea. “With no surface installations and recoverable reserves estimated at 193 Bcm (6.81 Tcf), the Sn?hvit field brings natural gas to land for liquefaction and export,” Ramboll said. Ramboll said the Askeladd and Sn?hvit pipeline would have a length of 185km, adding that it will be a world record for the longest subsea to shore tieback distance.
