摘要

Although symptomatic aggressive vertebral hemangiomas are relatively rare, it is not unusual to encounter a case every few years in a tertiary spine practice. There are very few spinal lesions that have such a broad array of treatment options (observation, radiation therapy, radiosurgery, embolization, alcohol injection, vertebroplasty, kyphopl-asty, laminectomy, intralesional resection, total en bloc spondylectomy and combinations of these treatments) with essentially no consensus in the literature regarding which is most appropriate and in which clinical circumstances.
