Perenco could be facing competition from Premier Oil to buy BP's 68% stake in the Wytch Farm asset in the UK, according to a report today. Premier has not ruled out exercising its pre-emptive option as an existing partner with around 12%, the player's chief executive, Simon Lockett, told Reuters.
