Teijin to Open U.S. Carbon Fiber Composites Application Center

Teijin says it will open the Teijin Composites Application Center (TCAC), a technical center to develop automotive and other industrial applications of carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic (CFRTP) composite products, at Auburn Hills, MI, on April 1. Teijin says it will continue to develop its markets as a global leader in the field of carbon fiber composite products, and aims for annual sales of ￥150 billion- ￥200 billion ($1.79 billion-$2.39 billion) by around 2020, from this business.
