Dong predicts stronger end of year

Denmark's Dong Energy is forecasting a stronger end to the year than previously expected as it cut its losses in Q3 2013. Dong, which cut hundreds of staff before getting a capital injection from Goldman Sachs and others, posted much-reduced revenue in the period. The net loss for the three months to the end of September was US $69.7m, compared to a loss of S582.6m a year earlier. Revenue dipped from $2.95 Bn to $2.38 Bn.
