Technip lands Asgard subsea gig

Statoil said today that it has awarded the US $212m contract for the installation of the Asgard field seabed compression facility in the Norwegian North Sea to Technip.Asgard seabed gas compression will increase recovery from the Mikkel and Midgard fields.The contract for marine operations is one of several major contracts awarded in connection with the decision to adopt new technology in order to increase recovery and maintain production on the Asgard field in the Norweaian Sea.
