Lundin's Norway duster

Sweden's Lundin Petroleum is completing exploration well 16/4-10 in Production Licence 544 (PL 544) offshore Norway as a dry hole. The well is around 10km southwest of the 16/4-6 S (Luno II) oil discovery in the central part of the Norwegian North Sea, 220km west of Stavanger. Well 16/4-10 was drilled to a vertical depth of 2,638m (8,655ft) below the sea surface, and was terminated in the Smith Bank formation in the Lower Triassic.
