FOLLOWING MEDIA speculation, Australian nickel mining company Minara Resources Ltd. early this week confirmed that it is participating in the sale process of BHP Billiton Ltd.'s idled Ravensthorpe nickel mining operation. In a November 2 ASX release, Minara said it is exploring various funding options as part of its due diligence on Ravensthorpe, but added that there is "no certainty" of the outcome of its participation in the sale process.
