Clariant's chemical coup for Sverdrup

Clariant has signed a framework contract with Statoil and its partners to supply production chemicals and services for the Johan Sverdrup oil field offshore Norway. The contract has a duration of eight years with a four-year option, totaling 12 years. Clariant did not give a value for the deal.
