AziNor Catalyst has completed the acquisition of a 80% stake in Licence P.1946 covering Block 15/12a offshore the UK from Stavanger Petroleum. The deal has received regulatory approvals from the UK Department of Energy & Climate Change (DECC). AziNor Catalyst acquired the equity in Licence P.1946 in exchange for undertaking all technical work commitments on the licence going forward. Stavanger has retained a 20% stake in the licence.
