Lochard Energy is urging shareholders to accept a merger offer from the Parkmead group, as it looks to build up a cash bank to cover possible upcoming expenditure on the UK North Sea Athena field in which it is a partner. The company said that currently on average, between 80-85% of production comes from two wells, P3 and P4. Any loss of either of these wells would lead to a significant loss of revenue.
