Lundin bags Caspian Sea licence

Sweden's Lundin Petroleum reports that Russia's licensing authority Rosnedra has awarded a production licence for the Morskaya field in the Lagansky Block in the Russian sector of the Caspian Sea. The production licence is valid until 2035 and covers around 50sq km. The Morskaya field is estimated to contain gross contingent resources of 157m boe.
