Sembcorp wins Culzean FSO deal

Singapore's Sembcorp Marine has landed a contract from Japan's Modec to design and build a Floating, Storage and Offloading (FSO) vessel for Maersk Oil's high-pressure/high-temperature Culzean field in the UK North Sea. Sembcorp Marine said this will be its first FSO new-build secured on a full turnkey project basis, including Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC).
