Following Statoil awarding five companies, including Aker Solutions, framework competition contracts, Aker Solutions will now re-evaluate its Maintenance, Modifications and Operations (MMO) business in Norway. Statoil's award will last 10 years and allows for one or more of the companies to be asked to bid on stand-alone maintenance and modifications assignments at Statoil-operated oil and gas fields starting in Q1 2016.
