Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMGS) has received a Letter of Award from North Energy for a US $3.3m contract for 3D EM acquisition over Production Licence 509S in the Norwegian North Sea. "This contract means that EM is becoming accepted as an exploration tool in the North Sea and re-iterates that the application of the EM technology will be an integral part of North Energy's exploration workflow," said CEO of EMGS, Roar Bekker.
