Treating depression: Diagnosing and treating circadian abnormalities in depression: Current antidepressants

The manuscripts published in this supplement are derived from the satellite symposia 'Circadian abnormalities in the continuum of mood disorders' and 'Treating depression: current antidepressants and beyond' at the 24th European Congress of Neuropsychopharmacology, Paris, 2011. In this supplement, new fields of research aimed at enhancing our understanding of the pathophysiology of mood disorders are discussed, as well as an innovative therapeutic strategy in depression, the first melatonergic antidepressant, agomela-tine, now available in many countries.
