Faerch starts up in Czech Republic

Danish food packaging producer Faerch Plast A/S has launched a EUR26.8m thermoformed plastic sheet and container plant at Liberec in the Czech Republic. The 13,500 m~2 unit opened in March and is strategically located close to Faerch's customers and near the German border. It will aim initially at target markets in Slovakia, Poland and the Czech Republic, as well as supplying parts of Southern Europe where the company has a network of distributors.
